GENOA PESTO SAUCE

The Genoa Pesto sauce is recognised among the typical agri-food products of Liguria and originated from Genoa, the Ligurian capital in the north of Italy.

This pesto "alla Genovese", with its distinct taste, is a delicious sauce for seasoning any pasta.

It's also great spread on slices of bread or focaccia to accompany appetisers.

RED PESTO SAUCE

The Red Pesto sauce is a flavorful ready-to-use sauce suitable for seasoning any pasta.

It is perfect to accompany aperitifs and starters spread on slices of bread or focaccia.

It's delicious with boiled meats and meat dishes.

WALNUT SAUCE

Fortunately, pesto isn’t the only pasta sauce typical to Genoa’s cuisine; there’s also pesto’s cousin: ‘Salsa alle Noci’.

Similar to pesto, it’s made by grinding up nuts, cheese, garlic, and herbs.

The difference is that ‘Salsa alle Noci’ is made with walnuts instead of pine nuts, marjoram instead of basil.

It's creamy, dense and flavorful.

It's perfect for seasoning pansotti and trofie pasta, tortellini and ravioli.

It is excellent with egg pasta and with any pasta of durum wheat.
