ORGANIC PEARLED BARLEY 500gr

Barley is the oldest cereal consumed by humanity.

Remains of barley (Hordeum vulgare) grains found at archaeological sites indicate that about 10,000 years ago the crop was domesticated from its wild relative Hordeum spontaneum.

Barley, like many other legumes and cereals, is a very important element of the Mediterranean diet and especially of the traditional Umbrian cuisine.
